Emitremmus 2018 Photos

Emitremmus Desrever is our celebration of the end of summertime and the route is essentially the reverse of the middle-distance Start of summertime route. In addition to this, from 2011 we also offered a shorter "Lite" version of the Emitremmus.

This event has grown to a point where we now have well over 400 entrants each year to this event and because of this, we encourage everyone to enter as early as possible to guarantee a place.

Event Information

We offer two different distances for this event. Both routes start and finish on the same roads but the middle follows different routes.

Ride: 67 kilometers
Route: From Stevenage to Buntingford, Hare Street, Great Hormead, Reed, Therfield, Rushden, Weston and back to Stevenage.
Start time: 10:30 am
Time allowed: 3.5 to 7 hours
Price: �10 (�8 for CTC/AUK)
Ride: 101 kilometers
Route: From Stevenage to Buntingford, Hare Street, Clavering, Saffron Walden, Great Chishill, Therfield, Weston and back to Stevenage.
Start time: 10:00 am
Time allowed: 4 to 8 hours
Price: �10 (�8 for CTC/AUK)

Entries

Online entries are now open for the 2019 ride.

If you wish to ride you can turn up on the day but we cannot guarantee a place. The cost on the day will be �15. Please note that you will be required to pay on the day to enter the event. When entering online there is a �1 supplement which is payable when you register.

If you would like to make a postal entry then you can download and print the entry form. Details of who to post it to will be on the form for you. Postal entries will close about a week before the ride.

Medals & Frame Numbers

We include a PBP/Tour de France style frame number to the first 200 entrants. Medals are issued by CyclingUK as the ride is part of the Challenge Ride Series 2019.
